Dissemination events



National Seminars and International Conference



The Intellectual Outputs of the project were disseminated via National Multipliers Seminars in national languages in Cyprus (22/5/2021), Greece (12/6/2021) and Portugal (1/6/2021). Seminars in Cyprus and Portugal were delivered online while the seminar in Greece was delivered face to face, at the University of Crete. Dissemination also included one, online, International Conference, in English, on June 1st 2021. Use the links below to see snapshots from all dissemination events. ​

CICADA TRANSNATIONAL MEETINGS



Kick of meeting





The Kick of meeting of the CICADA project took place on 16 and 17 December 2019, at the Center for Social Innovation-CSI in Nicosia, Cyprus. During the meeting φφresearch, quality assurance, valorisation and technology frameworks were established for successful project implementation. This meeting also ensured that all partners clearly understood their role and function in the project and that the reporting and recording responsibilities were outlined and agreed. Partners also discussed the establishment of stakeholder forums in each partner country to support development work at a local level. A thank you to all the partners who contributed to making the meeting a success and to the CSI for the warm welcome.

The second partners’ meeting took place on September 16, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting took place online, instead of the programmed face-to-face meeting in Crete. Despite the difficulties, all partners worked hard and made the best out of a difficult situation. The consortium concluded the mapping of Children's Quality of life in Cyprus, Greece and Portugal and overviewed the production of the chapters, in English, of the CICADA Curriculum and Open Resource Toolbox. Partners also discussed the next steps about the Digital Learning Environment, which will support the delivery of all online learning components. During the meeting, partners set in motion the development of the Training Adaptation and Policy Package. The Training and Policy Adaptation Guide will be developed in the form of an Interactive eBook (including multimedia content and visuals) and will provide specific guidelines to the project’s stakeholders, multipliers and policy makers.

The third partners’ meeting took place online on December 10th, 2021 (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Partners in a festive mood , finalized the CICADA Curriculum and Open Resource Toolbox and revised the progress made concerning the Digital Learning Environment. The Training Adaptation and Policy Package was also put in motion. Partners also decided the details concerning the Capacity building five day seminar which was decided to be delivered in March 2021.

The fourth partners’ meeting took place online on March 10th, 2021, following the completion of the 5 day capacity building of the project. The success of the seminar is evident on the happy faces of the 25 participants and the overall evaluation of the event. Following the completion of the seminar the core members of the consortium reviewed the evaluation of the seminar and discussed the next steps: the finalization of the platform and the organization of the multiplier evens( National Seminars & conference which will be held during May and June 2021.

The fifth and final partners’ meeting took place online on September 14th, 2021. This meeting marked the end of the lifecycle of the project. Partners reviewed the outcomes and the modus operandi of the project. Future steps concerning the sustainabiltiy of the project were also discussed, including dissemination and exploitation strategies. Parters also explored options for collaborations in the future.
